Terms & Conditions
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before registering your Professional Art Donation for The Sophie Clarke Foundation’s (TSCF) “Love Life” Art Exhibition & Auction. By completing the Professionals Donation form you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Donation Registration
1.1. To register an art donation please fill out the Professionals Donation form and email a photograph of your donation to thesophieclarkefoundation@gmail.com by 30 September 2021.
1.2. TSCF welcomes any and all Professional donations. Artists can donate as many pieces as they wish to the exhibition and auction.
1.3. By emailing a photograph of your donation you are consenting to its display in the online gallery on TSCF's website.
2. Exhibition & Auction
2.1. While TSCF is extremely appreciative of all donations, exhibition and auction of every donation is not guaranteed but subject to donation numbers and exhibition capacity.
2.2. Artists will be contacted in October following the Challenge's submission deadline (30 September 2021) to confirm the exhibition and auction of their donation. This will include details on how and where pieces should be sent/delivered.
2.3. When contacted, artists will be asked to confirm and agree to the exhibition of their artwork.
2.4. On confirming a place at the exhibition, the artist is agreeing donation of their artwork to TSCF. From there onwards TSCF have the right auction the piece and use it for promotional materials, including information leaflets, posters and social media.
2.5. Exhibited pieces will preferably be on stretched canvas, but if a piece is on art paper larger than the size A3 the participant is responsible for framing it to be displayed.
2.6. Money raised from the auction of exhibited pieces will be donated to the named charity/charities. In the event of an exhibited piece not being auctioned it will be returned to the artist.
2.7. Professional artists have the option to retain up to 50% of the money raised by their artwork at the auction. Percentage amount to be agreed in the exhibition agreement.
2.8. Exhibition and auction will take place in November 2021, dates TBC.
2.9. The exhibition and auction are subject to COVID restrictions and will be adapted according to government guidelines.
3. Changes
3.1. Deadlines and event details are subject to change during the course of the “Love Life” Art Challenge. Participants will be informed of important changes regarding the challenge.
3.2. The Sophie Clarke Foundation reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time during the challenge.
