the challenge
Unwind and explore your creativity, no matter your artistic ability or experience!
With entry categories ranging from Professional Artist to complete Beginner to Age 12 and under, our summer art challenge encouraged everyone to relax and reflect while producing an art piece and caption that explained what 'Love Life' meant to them.

process
Participating was as simple as 1, 2, 3!
1. Register your place in one of the entry categories (Professional, Advanced, Intermediate, Beginner, Teen, 12&Under)
2. Create your 'Love Life' Artwork, with help of one of our free Live Art Tutorials if required
3. Submit your artwork with a caption explaining what 'Love Life' means to you!
We received an overwhelming 187 submissions, of which only 100 were selected by our judging panel to be exhibited on one of the spectacular top floors of 22 Bishopsgate in London! 10 of those where then auctioned live, with all other submissions auctioned online!
We were overwhelmed by the number of participants that informed us that this challenge achieved one of its primary objectives: to help people discover a new way of unwinding, exercising mindfulness and maintaining their mental health. On participant informed us they had never painted before the challenge but had continued to paint everyday since, as it helped them discover a new hobby that became central to their mental wellness routine.
In addition, as a result of the spectacular and widespread participation, online and live auctions and sponsorship, this challenge raised over £70,000! This fundraiser was set up in support of Papyrus and Sound Minds, and enabled us to work closely with the latter and witness their growth with the refurbishment of their Art Studio and The Bloom Gallery.
